Bright CDR Analyzer

Bright CDR Analyzer is a Windows application built for investigators who work with telecom evidence. It reads call detail records and itemised bills in PDF, Excel or CSV format, including the MTN court-order layout, along with MTN Mobile Money statements, and organises them into investigation cases. Every imported file is fingerprinted with SHA-256 for chain of custody, and original files are never modified. From there the analyzer answers the questions an investigation depends on: who the target calls most, who calls them, where they spend their time, where they are likely to sleep and work, and where the phone was at the time of an incident. Dedicated views cover contacts and call frequency, a ranked cell-site map with heatmaps and movement playback, daily routines, timelines, device and IMEI history, gaps and anomalies, and the money trail behind mobile money transactions. Multiple suspects can be cross-analysed in one case to find shared contacts and co-location. Findings export to CSV, Google Earth KML and court-ready reports. The analyzer also builds caution into its results. It reminds investigators that a tower position is not a handset position, since coverage can reach several kilometres.
